Tonight’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! promises one of the most surreal, tense — and unexpectedly joyful — moments of the entire series, as Martin Kemp finally steps into the spotlight while Tom Read Wilson faces his deepest fears inside a snake-infested nightmare known as the Lethal Library.
After weeks of viewers complaining that the Spandau Ballet legend had barely been seen, Martin is about to deliver the screen time fans have been begging for — not through terror, but through music, mischief, and jungle theatre at its finest.
The trial that changes everything
For the first time this series, Martin is taking part in a Bushtucker Trial — and it’s no small task. Teaming up with the ever-polite and perpetually anxious Tom Read Wilson, the pair are thrown into the Lethal Library, where they must locate seven hidden books to win stars for camp.
But this isn’t just a dusty room of old novels.
Each bookcase is crawling with live snakes, coiled between the pages, wrapped around the shelves, and waiting beneath the very books Tom is forced to lift with trembling hands.
As the ITV teaser reveals, Tom steps into a new section of the library and is instantly greeted by a wall of writhing danger.
“I’m sorry… I know you’re just being bookworms,” he nervously tells the snakes. “Very, very big bookworms…”
Ant can’t resist stepping in:
“I know there’s snakes in this section, but you need to pick up the pace here, Tom!”
Apologies, panic… and pure jungle chaos
Inside the library, Tom inches his way through the shelves with shaking hands and trembling politeness — apologising to the snakes as if they’re invited guests he’s accidentally inconvenienced.
“Oh darling, you’re on top,” he whispers to one snake as he carefully probes beneath it.
Lifting another book slowly, he winces:
“I’m going to do it gingerly… because I think it might be a big one.”
Then, with relief:
“Oh! It’s not you…”
But the tension only escalates.
“There’s a snake in The Jungle Book, of course,” Ant jokes.
“Of course!” Dec fires back instantly.
Martin kemp turns terror into a musical moment
While Tom grapples with his fear, Martin Kemp is having a very different jungle experience. Covered in dirt, bugs and mealworms behind the librarian’s desk, he suddenly slips into full performer mode.
Staring down the camera, he growls theatrically:
“Look into my eyes!”
It’s a perfect tribute to Kaa from The Jungle Book — and it instantly sends Ant and Dec into fits of laughter.
Then comes the moment nobody saw coming.
With time ticking down and Tom still searching desperately for the right book, Martin suddenly bursts into song — launching into The Bare Necessities alongside Ant and Dec.
The jungle echoes with laughter, music, and disbelief.
Dec shouts the reminder everyone dreads:
“FOUR MINUTES LEFT!”
Ant jokes to Martin:
“He wants your job!”
And for a brief moment, fear gives way to pure entertainment.
Will tom find the book in time?
Back inside the library, the tension returns.
Tom slides another book out from beneath a snake, apologising yet again.
Still not the right one.
“The Jungle Book. It’s in there definitely — but where?” Ant asks.
“Jungle Book, where are you? Where are you?” Tom mutters, panic rising with every second lost.
Outside, the clock is relentless. Inside, the snakes remain unmoved.
And the fate of the camp’s dinner hangs in the balance.
From forgotten to unforgettable
For Martin Kemp, tonight’s trial is more than just music and jokes — it’s a moment of redemption. After being accused of fading into the background this series, he is about to remind the nation exactly why he is such a beloved entertainer.
For Tom Read Wilson, it is a battle of courage against crawling terror — fought with manners, apologies, and a voice shaking with fear.
And for viewers?
It’s shaping up to be one of the most bizarre, funny, tense and memorable trials the jungle has delivered all season.
Will they win enough stars?
Will Tom finally uncover the last book in time?
Will Martin break into song again?
And will camp be eating a full meal — or facing another hungry night?
All will be revealed tonight at 9pm.
One thing is certain:
fear, music and pure jungle chaos are about to collide.
