Nicola Roberts has revealed the happiest surprise of her life — she is pregnant and preparing to welcome her first child with fiancé Mitch Hahn.
The Girls Aloud star, 40, shared the joyful news on Instagram on Christmas Day, posting a radiant photograph showing off her growing baby bump. In the emotional post, Nicola disclosed that she is already five months pregnant and expecting their little one to arrive in the spring. 
She wrote:
“Mitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families. We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring x.”
The announcement came exactly one year after Nicola became engaged to Mitch, 37, during a romantic getaway to the south of France — a moment she later celebrated on stage at Brighton Pride, flashing her dazzling diamond ring while performing with bandmates Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh.
Celebrities quickly flooded her comments with heartfelt congratulations. Rochelle Humes led the well-wishers, writing: “The best news ever 
congratulations gang 
.”
Jessie Ware added: “Amazing babe! Congrats .”
Laura Whitmore commented: “Congrats to you both! The best news x.”
Mitch, an accountant and semi-professional footballer, was first publicly linked to Nicola when the pair were photographed together at Elton John’s concert in June 2022. He previously played for Essex club Grays Athletic and captained the Great Britain team at the European Maccabi Games in Israel. 
A source previously told The Sun: “Nicola has met her soulmate in Mitch. She couldn’t be happier.”
Before finding happiness with Mitch, Nicola dated Charlie Fennell for six years until their split in 2013, saying the relationship had simply “fizzled out”. Prior to that, she endured a harrowing stalking ordeal at the hands of ex-partner Carl Davies, who set up 35 fake social media accounts and sent thousands of threatening messages over four years. Nicola carefully documented every message and passed them to police, leading to his conviction and a prison sentence of two years and eight months after he admitted sending death threats to BBC Breakfast’s Louise Minchin and making horrific threats toward her daughter.
Now, after years of personal challenges, Nicola is stepping into a new chapter — motherhood — surrounded by love, support and celebration.
