Made In Chelsea favourite Maeva D’Ascanio has revealed the arrival of her second child — a baby girl — with husband James Taylor.
The 33-year-old reality star shared the joyful news on Instagram Thursday evening, posting photos along with her newborn’s name.
Maeva wrote:
“Welcome to the world little Josephine Scarlett Taylor.”
Maeva and James, who tied the knot in 2023, became parents for the first time in 2022 when they welcomed their son Beau, now two years old.
She first announced her second pregnancy in May, sharing a touching video showing her growing bump, scan photos, and a sweet moment of Beau kissing her stomach.
When the couple later revealed they were expecting a girl, Maeva captioned the update:
“We can’t wait to meet you, pretty little girl @jamestaylorldn.”
A Reality Star’s Journey to Love
Maeva first joined Made In Chelsea in 2019 as the on-off girlfriend of Miles Nazaire before eventually falling in love with James — a romance that famously caused a dramatic fallout between the two friends.
She married James in November 2023 surrounded by Made In Chelsea co-stars including Ruby Adler and Sam Prince.
The pair held their second ceremony in December at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire, following their official marriage at Chelsea Registry Office the month prior.
Their lavish Christmas-themed wedding was shared exclusively with Hello! Magazine, and the couple described their day as “perfect,” opening up about the festive details.
A Fairytale Winter Wedding
Maeva stunned in a Liz Martinez gown from P.S. Bridal Rental paired with Jimmy Choo heels.
Her floor-length silk and lace dress featured hand-embroidered florals — “a little see-through, but still traditional,” she said, calling it her dream of “everything in one dress.”
The couple invited 76 guests to their Georgian venue, decorated with five Christmas trees, candles, white roses, and fairy lights.
Their son Beau had a starring role, carried down the aisle by James to Elton John’s Your Song.
Maeva made her own entrance to Sheena Easton’s For Your Eyes Only, descending from a balcony overlooking the ceremony.
Speaking to Hello!, James recalled the moment he saw Maeva:
“Every memory we’d made flashed before my eyes. I thought: ‘That’s my woman, and she always will be.’”
Maeva added: “Everything was perfect — more than perfect.”
The celebration included appearances from their Made In Chelsea castmates:
Ruby Adler, Reza Amiri-Garroussi, Hugo MacKenzie-Wood, Joel Mignott, Robbie Mullet, Tristan Phipps, Digby Edgley, and Sam Prince.
A Love Story Years in the Making
Maeva and James became engaged in April 2022 during a romantic trip to the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
James proposed with a 2.5-carat pear-shaped diamond ring, which he personally designed, and had already secured permission from Maeva’s father before popping the question.
