Peter Andre has shared a deeply emotional fear as Christmas approaches — that this festive season could be the last he spends with his beloved mother.
The singer and television star, 52, spoke candidly about his mum Thea’s fragile health, revealing that the 89-year-old is now living with advanced Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, with her condition continuing to deteriorate.

‘It’s Heartbreaking — She’s Our World’
Admitting the thought has been weighing heavily on him, Peter didn’t hide his anguish.
“Of course I worry this could be Mum’s last Christmas,” he said.
“It’s heartbreaking — because she’s our world. She’s our pillar of strength.”
Despite decades in the public eye and life as a father of five, Peter confessed that nothing prepares you for watching a parent slowly fade.
“It’s a raw pain,” he said.
“I still can’t accept in my heart that these things happen to the people I love the most.”
A Love Story That Spans 70 Years
Peter also spoke movingly about his father Savvas, 92, who remains by Thea’s side every single day — despite his own health beginning to falter.
“Dad’s with her constantly,” Peter said. “But he’s getting delicate too. His memory’s going.”
The couple marked a remarkable milestone earlier this year — 70 years of marriage — an anniversary Peter once prayed they would reach. The occasion was acknowledged with a personal letter from the King, a moment Peter described as profoundly meaningful.
“Even though Mum’s speech is almost non-existent,” he said,
“I know her heart was filled with love because of all the support.”

Earlier this year, Peter shared a quietly devastating video filmed in Australia as he prepared to return to the UK after visiting his mum.
In the clip, Thea gently caresses his face, trying to communicate without words.
“Not exactly sure what Mum is saying here,” Peter wrote at the time,
“but words are not always needed.”
He added simply:
“I love her so much. I pray she knows that. I will be back very soon.”
Christmas Will Be About Time — Not Traditions
Peter will spend Christmas in the UK with his wife Emily, 36, and their five children — before flying to Australia shortly afterwards to be with his parents.
Joining them on Christmas Day will be his older children Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, from his previous marriage to Katie Price, alongside younger children Theo, eight, Millie, 11, and baby Arabella, 20 months.
Junior’s girlfriend Jasmine, 25, will also be there.
In a change from tradition, the family plans a quieter celebration — opening stockings made from tights before heading to a pub for Christmas lunch.

This year, for Peter Andre, Christmas isn’t about excess or spectacle.
It’s about time.
About presence.
About love that remains when words begin to disappear.
And above all, it’s about holding on — as gently, and as tightly, as possible — to the people who matter most.
