“I Don’t Want to Have a Debate…” — Mark Consuelos Finally Calls Out Kelly Ripa Over Her Botox Habit in Unexpected On-Air Moment

Mark Consuelos has made it clear that he’s not exactly a fan of one cosmetic treatment his wife Kelly Ripa regularly uses — and he didn’t hold back during a revealing exchange on LIVE with Kelly and Mark. Jack Schlossberg in a dark puffer coat, looking over his left shoulder.

The candid moment unfolded when the couple were joined by Criminal Minds star Adam Rodriguez, who admitted he struggles with grinding his teeth at night. Kelly, never short of advice, quickly stepped in.

“I’m going to fix this for you. I’m going to fix your problem,” she told Adam confidently. “Botox in your jaw. That will stop you grinding your teeth. You literally won’t be able to grind.”

That’s when Mark couldn’t resist a cheeky interruption.

“You won’t be able to smile or do anything else,” he joked, pulling a stiff expression that sent the studio audience into laughter. Jack Schlossberg pushing a child in a stroller into an apartment.

“I smile and chew all the time!” Kelly shot back.

“Yeah… but not for the first couple of days,” Mark added.

But the banter didn’t end there.

Later in the segment, Kelly warned her husband about the real-life consequences of his teasing.

“Just remember this tonight when you start rubbing up against me,” she quipped. “I don’t want a debate like, ‘What’s wrong? Why are you ignoring me?’”

Then she delivered the punchline: “I’ll be like, ‘My jaw can’t move.’” Man in a gray cap and coat walking into 888 Park Avenue.

At that point, Mark abruptly cut to commercials, joking, “Alright, we need to take a break!”

Why Kelly Gets Botox in Her Jaw

Kelly has previously explained that she receives masseter Botox on the advice of her dentist after years of clenching and grinding her teeth at night. Prince William, Jack Kennedy Schlossberg, Tatiana Kennedy Schlossberg, and Caroline Kennedy.

Botox, or Botulinum Toxin-A, works by blocking the nerve signals that cause the jaw muscles to contract. When the masseter muscle becomes overdeveloped, it can cause jaw tension, headaches, facial bulkiness and symptoms linked to temporomandibular disorder.

Aesthetic doctor Dr Asha Chhaya has said muscle-relaxing injections can help slim the face — but only when the masseter muscle is enlarged through clenching.

Meanwhile, Dr Wassim Taktouk explains that masseter Botox typically lasts between four and six months, though results vary from person to person. Costs can range from £150 to £500 depending on the clinic. Jack Schlossberg walking briskly on a sidewalk at night, carrying a red bag.

“It Changed My Life”

Kelly has been open about how much the treatment has helped her.

During a previous episode last June, Mark teased her over her bedtime routine, joking about the number of dental devices she wears.

“You’ve got your retainer, the little band… Do you have upper and lower retainers?” he asked.

Kelly admitted it was all dentist-recommended.

“I was a tooth grinder,” she revealed. “Got Botox in my jaw because my dentist told me to — and it changed my life. It completely changed my life.”

She added, “I clench my teeth because I don’t want what I’m thinking to come spilling out of my mouth.”

Mark later reminded viewers that tooth grinding isn’t harmless, explaining it can lead to worn-down teeth, jaw pain and muscle soreness — even if, as he jokingly hinted, it may also come with a few frozen-smile side effects.
