With the Kansas City Chiefs officially eliminated from playoff contention and only two games left on the schedule, head coach Andy Reid has addressed the growing belief that Christmas Day could mark Travis Kelce’s final-ever home game after a legendary 13-year career.

“I don’t know if it is or not — I haven’t talked to him,” Reid admitted. “But his numbers, his personality, the person he is… they speak for themselves. He’s a phenomenal person. Everything you want from someone representing this organization.”

Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy echoed the sentiment, revealing how hard Kelce has continued to fight even in a lost season.

“He’s here every day. Leading. Helping guys. That should tell you why he’s so special,” Nagy said. “I hope to hell this isn’t the end.”

Defensive tackle Chris Jones was even more heartfelt.

“Man, it’s sad,” he said. “I hope it isn’t his last ride, but if it is… I tip my hat. Hell of a career.”
