“As a brother and a Chiefs fan, I love you… I’m sorry,” Kelce told the Ant-Man star, after asking how he was holding up amid playoff elimination and swirling retirement rumors.

“It’s been an embarrassment of riches,” he said softly. “This wasn’t the year, but that’s okay. Someone else gets to feel what we felt.”

Kelce smiled through the emotion — a man carrying both the weight of a season lost and the uncertainty of what might be his final year in the NFL.
