“There Are Months I Can’t Even Look at Him…” — Stacey Solomon Makes Brutally Honest Confession About Marriage to Joe Swash
Stacey Solomon has never pretended that her life is picture-perfect — and now the TV favourite has delivered one of her most candid admissions yet about married life with Joe Swash.
The 36-year-old star revealed that there are times she and Joe, 43, row so often that she reaches a point where she “can’t even look at him” — offering a raw glimpse behind the smiles of one of Britain’s most loved celebrity couples.
The pair first met back in 2010 during I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, when Stacey was crowned Queen of the Jungle and Joe was a presenter on the spin-off show. After confirming their romance in 2016, they married in 2022 and now share a bustling household with five children.
Yet Stacey admits that with three little ones still young, peace is often in short supply.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping UK, Stacey laughed off the idea of a flawless marriage.
“How can you not fall out with your husband? That’s a pipe dream,” she said honestly.
“We don’t have a house full of staff. My mum will stick a wash on, my dad looks after the kids — but Joe and I argue all the time over what needs doing.”
She added that life right now feels permanently chaotic.
“Five kids, three of them young… everything is a kerfuffle.”
The couple even opened their home to viewers in the BBC reality series Stacey & Joe, where fans saw first-hand how intense family life can become.
“We Always Remember Why We Got Together”
Despite the clashes, Stacey insists their bond is never truly broken. Even during the lowest moments, she says they eventually find their way back to each other.
“We got together because we like each other. We have the same morals and values,” she explained.
“So even if we do have a couple of months of ‘I can’t even look at you right now,’ we always remember why we chose each other in the first place.”
With their ten-year anniversary approaching next year, Stacey says their relationship has been tested — but not undone.
The Anxiety Behind the “Power Woman” Image
Away from home life, Stacey also opened up about the pressure she feels in the entertainment industry. Despite being seen as a confident, successful businesswoman, she admitted to still battling anxiety.
She described the lack of control in showbusiness as “daunting”, even though she considers herself ambitious and driven.
“People label me as stupid,” she added — but says she now feels much more in control as her career continues to grow.

Alongside her TV work, Stacey has become a hugely successful brand ambassador, fronting multiple endorsement deals and commercial partnerships.
However, that success hasn’t been without criticism.
