Angry Ginge’s Heartfelt Tribute to the Woman Who Shaped His Entire Life
In one of the most emotional moments of this year’s I’m A Celebrity, Angry Ginge opened up about the person who has been the anchor of his entire world — his mum, Michelle. Behind the humour, energy, and online confidence is a young man shaped by hardship, resilience, and a mother who fought every single day to give him a chance.
Sitting by the campfire with former Lioness Alex Scott, the 24-year-old content creator spoke softly about his childhood on a council estate — a life defined not by comfort, but by watching his mum survive on grit alone. Ginge recalled seeing her rise before dawn for her first job, rush straight into a second, then a third, and still return home with a tired-but-loving smile for her children.
“That image never leaves me,” he said. “If she could do all that… then I can do anything in here. That’s what keeps me going.”
Alex, who grew up in a similarly working-class environment, nodded knowingly.
“We’ve been getting our hands dirty since we were kids,” she told him. “It’s how we learned to survive.”
