Penny Lancaster turned the pavement outside London’s Ritz into her own red carpet on Monday night, as she stepped out after an extravagant family dinner with husband Rod Stewart — looking every inch the rock star’s leading lady.

The 54-year-old model beamed as her youngest son Aiden carefully helped her down the grand steps, her sparkling black mini-dress flashing beneath a cosy brown faux-fur jacket. With black heels completing the look, fans couldn’t help but smile at the nod to Rod’s iconic hit Hot Legs.

Rod, 80, was dressed to impress in a black bejewelled jacket layered over a cream waistcoat and crisp white shirt, proudly leading his blended clan out into the winter night.

The family celebration was a true Stewart affair. Joining the couple were Rod’s son Liam and his wife Nicole, daughter Ruby with husband Jake, and Penny’s sons Ali and Aiden. Love was clearly in the air, with Ruby and Jake sharing a passionate kiss as they left the famous hotel.

Before meeting Penny, Rod had already built a large family across several relationships — from eldest daughter Sarah, whom he put up for adoption at 17, to children Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee and Liam. Penny completed the family picture after welcoming sons Alistair in 2005 and Aiden in 2011.

Earlier this month, Penny broke down in tears during a BBC festive special as she reflected on their love story — revealing that after first meeting Rod in 1999, she believed she’d never hear from him again.
